I am extremely proud and pleased to present today’s comic strip to you all. It was sent to me recently by one of my favorite new webcomic creators, Mark Stokes! For the life of me, I can’t recall how I came across Mark‘s work. It may have been through Twitter or maybe just spying him hanging out on someone else’s comments page, but once I backtracked him to his own site, I’ve been taken away by his style.

From the first glimpse of his art, I thought that Mark was a professional cartoonist who’d been working and honing his craft for years. It looked that natural. His style could fit right in with the best in the business like Mort Walker, Dik Browne, and Charles Schulz.

Mark Stokes is the creator of the webcomic series, Zombie Boy. ZB has been around for quite awhile and has gone thru various incarnations (all of which are very entertaining). Personally, I’m a huge fan of Mark‘s flair for coloring. His palette rivals my own and each of his comics (which are posted Mon-Wed-Fri) have a distinct look which certainly sets a mood.

I am so glad that Mark sent this strip to me. I love the way he captured the characters from ADDANAC CITY, giving them their own unique style and identity. It’s fun to see your creations thru someone else’s eyes. So give it up for Mark Stokes and please, pay him a visit over on Zombie Boy to get your chills and chuckles on!

Do they still send letters home from school or is it all just texts and emails now? I know we get text notifications and voice mails from the high school whenever our daughter misses a class.

If that’s all the education you need, perhaps Hank should give it a try.

This is one of my favorite strips because Hank gets to discover first-hand what his community actually thinks of him.

It’s not often that he’s on the losing end of things, but this is one such moment where Hank gets the proverbial pie-in-the-face.

I’m not too sure who they guy barking and ranting is, and I don’t know what kind of prize to the fairer sex he thinks he is, but it’s been awhile since I’ve done anything significant with the character of Principal Argent.

I guess after Argent played such a pivotal role in the Hard Time storyline back in the Summer of ’10, I just placed him back on the shelf and forgot all about him as a character.

I’ll need to see about bringing Roscoe Argent back to the forefront again real soon.

For this to be a Math Class, Hank sure does incorporate a lotta psychology into it. I see why all of Ms. Yesnik‘s hairs are grey.

And I’m pretty positive the carpet matches the drapes too.

Today is my 3rd Anniversary of being married to the greatest woman ever, so I may not be as prominently available on the internet as usual, but I shall return and I will be sticking my head in here and there. Take care, everyone!

It’s been awhile since I’ve drawn Christie. I’ve been creating so many new, interesting characters that I feel I’ve neglected some of the others. Don’t worry, Christie fans, I’ll try to fit in some of your classic favorites whenever I get the chance.

I prefer to have an old white guy draw my comics for me.

I’m sure all of you long-time AC readers know who Dr. Neal N. Payne, Addanac City‘s resident dentist is, but you may not be as familiar with his brother Pierce Payne, who is also a doctor.

Dr. Neal made mention of his brother in this classic comic that’s shown below where he lent bro a helping hand with a special medical procedure (much to Mr. Addanac’s dismay).

Now you get to be formerly introduced to Dr. Pierce N. Payne, Proctologist. At least he got to keep hair a lot longer than Neal.
