I remember almost doing this as a kid when an adult told me the same thing. I just feared the repercussions I would receive from my mother if I followed thru on my first (and worst) instincts.

A lot of the crazy, death-defying stunts that Hank pulls come from my very own psyche. It was just that I was too much of a wuss to try pulling anything. I was the kid who had strange thoughts but never carried them out.

I thought Harvey and Simone had kicked this lil’ filly to the curb after she bombarded them with her unwanted presence last week.

I guess there’s no stopping Hazel when she’s got her mind focused on something. This time, it looks like Lloyd is caught in her sights.

When I was a kid, I used to love when my dad would surprise me with takeout pizza when he got off from work. It’s was one of life’s little pleasures.

I’m extra-glad that my dad’s equilibrium was a lot better than Mr. A‘s.

My son inspired this comic. No matter when mealtime is, that boy can find the time to eat around it. We jokingly say that he’s practicing for dinner.

Hank is a very strange little boy. Mr. A had better pay more attention to him when he’s talking.

The idea for this strip came from ten years ago when one of my coworkers ordered a lunch that he had never tried before. It was less than satisfactory, and he looked so sad at making such a bad choice, that I drew a “sorry face” on his styrofoam box and christened it an Unhappy Meal. See? Comic strip plots can come from real life.
