The idea for this strip came from ten years ago when one of my coworkers ordered a lunch that he had never tried before. It was less than satisfactory, and he looked so sad at making such a bad choice, that I drew a “sorry face” on his styrofoam box and christened it an Unhappy Meal. See? Comic strip plots can come from real life.
