This is Day One of the world-famous ADDANAC CITY GUEST STRIP WEEK. Today’s guest-strip has been authored and illustrated by an amazing cartoonist named Sandy Debreuil who chronicles the adventures of Crowbar Benson.

I first became aware of Sandy’s work when he advertised on this very site. His artwork seemed quite interesting, so I clicked on his ad and I was completely blown away.

Crowbar Benson is basically about a single dad who is somewhat of an ex (or current) jock. His two sons are following in his footsteps and are doing exactly what boys their age do, and that’s have fun. The jokes are funny and touching. Trust me, if you give this series a chance, you’ll love it!

I love Sandy’s linework and his writing and comedic pacing is top-notch. His strip is one of the best I’ve come across lately and I hope he gets all of the exposure he deserves.
