So far, so good. Addanac City's popularity has been growing each day. People really seem to like it. I've been having a blast creating all the strips, but I'd probably get scared if I thought of how many people were actually reading it. I just write the strip as if my mom, fiancee, and I were the only ones taking a glimpse. That alleviates the pressure, right? Riiiight. My family is my toughest group of critics. Just because they think I'm ruggedly handsome in soft lighting doesn't mean they think I can write or draw.

I've been trying to spread the word of Addanac City because I think it's a pretty good strip. Anybody, young or old, male or female, can appreciate the humor. I've had people come up to me (bill collectors and the repo man. Hi, Dave!) and tell me how much they enjoyed that particular day's strip or how it brightened an otherwise dismal day. Hey, I aim to please. There wouldn't be any need of me doing this if I was the only one who liked it. I could just read it in black and white off the kitchen table. So, THIS, young world...THIS comic strip series is for YOU. If you like what I've been doing thus far, let me know. If you hate it and think it's a waste of internet space, tell somebody else. Your earnestness and insatiable desire to be entertained is what keeps me tethered to this drawing table. That and this humongous Master Lock.
