Christie is Hank's foil and nemesis. She's intelligent, thoughtful, and female: all of the things Hank despises. Christie is the conscience of the strip and she shows Hank how a proper 2nd grader should behave.

Tim is Hank's best friend. He likes hanging out with him & is usually the "straight man" for most of Hank's exploits. He's a better student than Hank, but he doesn't hold it against him.

They try to teach & understand their son as only parents can. The two constantly attempt to keep Hank on the right track but, boy, is that boy a handful!

He's the ultimate disciplinarian
who faces, on a daily basis, the
ultimate discipline problem: Hank. They wage an hysterical battle every time Hank is sent to his office. Argent's plan is to transform Hank into a model student before he loses his mind. Good luck, Argent!
